Dave Perry had been to gyms before.
He’d even had some success along the way. But over time, things started to feel familiar in the wrong way—checking in, doing workouts, and never really knowing if what he was doing was the right thing for his body or his life.
Dave works long hours as a mechanic. His job is physical, demanding, and tiring. When he reached out, he wasn’t looking for anything extreme. He wanted more energy, to feel stronger, and to move better as the years went on—without beating himself up or burning out.
We first connected in the spring. Dave was interested, but understandably on the fence. Like many people, he had questions. Would this actually work for him? Would it fit his schedule? Would it feel any different than what he’d already tried?
So we stayed in touch.
When Dave finally came in, we didn’t rush him into anything. We sat down and talked—about his work, his energy levels, his goals, and what he realistically needed from a gym.
That conversation changed everything.
Instead of chasing perfection or intensity, Dave found a program that fit his life. A place where he felt comfortable. Coaching that met him where he was at—not where someone thought he should be.
Now, Dave trains two to three days per week at Adam Clark Fitness. He’s stronger, more mobile, and has more energy for both work and life. He often adds in extra cardio, always shows up with a smile, and has become a valued part of the ACF community.
And if you ask Dave how things are going?
You’ll usually hear his favorite phrase:
“Easy peasy.”
Here’s what Dave shared in his Google review:
“If anybody is thinking about going to a gym, this place is amazing. The people are great. I highly recommend.”
Dave’s story is a reminder that you don’t need another gym.
You need the right gym.
A program that works with your life—not against it.
And a community that makes showing up feel doable, not overwhelming.
Dave keeps showing up.
And he keeps getting better.
If you’ve been wondering whether a place like this could work for you, this might be your sign.
