Have you ever doubted yourself? Of course you have. We all have.
Studies show we have up to 60,000 thoughts per day, and as much as 80% of them are negative. That’s a lot of self-doubt. And unfortunately, there’s no simple switch to turn it off overnight. It takes practice.
Starting a fitness journey is a perfect example. There’s often apprehension, fear, and uncertainty—feeling uncomfortable in your own skin, worrying about the unknown, or lacking confidence. Sometimes, those doubts push people to delay starting for weeks, months, or even years. I call it the “What If” mindset, and it usually leans negative.
But what if we flipped the script?
And it’s not just fitness. The “What Ifs” spill into every part of life.
Nothing in life is certain, but your mindset is something you can control.
That doesn’t mean jumping around shouting positive affirmations with no action. It means making small, intentional changes:
“What Ifs” don’t have to be negative. What if they became opportunities instead of obstacles?
What’s your best mindset practice? I’d love to hear!
