It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were shoveling snow, packing away the Christmas decorations, and setting goals for the new year. But just like that, we’re already halfway through 2025.
Take a few minutes to check in with yourself. Grab a pen, open your notes app, and reflect on the past six months.
- What are your wins?
- Write down at least one health, career/financial, and personal win.
- Even if this has been the hardest year of your life, there’s something to celebrate in each category.
- What challenges have you faced?
- Sticking with the same three areas, write down at least one challenge you’ve had in each.
- What’s one thing you need to keep doing to finish 2025 strong?
- Identify a habit, mindset, or action that’s working—and commit to keeping it up.
Simple, effective, and worth your time.
Big changes don’t happen overnight, but we often underestimate what we can achieve in a year while overestimating what we can get done in a single day. It’s a line I use all the time and also a reminder to myself. Without reflection, we’re just moving blindly, possibly off course.
If you’re feeling better than ever, ask yourself why. Keep doing those things.
If you’re stuck, identify what’s holding you back. Adjust, pivot, and move forward.
Progress isn’t linear. 2025 isn’t a lost year. You are not full of losses. Those thoughts? False.
Take a moment, reflect, take action—and let’s finish the year strong.
