This month, we’re tackling a big topic: getting rid of what’s standing between you and your goals.
This could be what you put in your body (food), the thoughts and beliefs you focus on, or anything else cluttering up your health and fitness journey.
The first step is probably the hardest—getting REAL about what’s actually holding you back.
It’s tricky because life moves fast, and we can end up on autopilot without even realizing what’s standing in our way.
I have a quick exercise for you.
Grab a journal, open a Google Doc, or jot this down on a piece of paper. (This is just for you, so you can toss it later if you want.)
Make a list of every reason you think you haven’t reached your goals.
Maybe you:
- Hate getting up early
- Don’t like “healthy” foods
- Feel like you lack motivation or willpower
- Feel overwhelmed or alone in your journey
- Think your goals are for other people—not for you
Write down everything that comes to mind. Then, read through your list and look for patterns: is it time? Mindset? Confidence? Support?
Now it’s time to shift into problem-solving mode and take action:
- Lack support? Find it! Connect with health-minded friends, join an online group, or work with a coach (a real game-changer). TEAM ACF IS THE BEST, but we might be biased. 😉
- Not enough time? Get creative! Sneak fitness into your day with small, intentional actions. A coach can help with this, too. You know we have a little extra coaching available at ACF.
- Struggling with mindset? Surround yourself with motivation—read self-development books, watch inspiring videos, and track your progress. This is another area where coaching makes a huge difference.
Now imagine how great it will feel to remove the roadblocks standing between you and your goals.
