From Nervous to Thriving: Sue’s 25-Workout Milestone

Getting started is often the hardest part. Nerves kick in, excuses creep up, and before you know it, weeks—or even months—have passed. Sometimes the timing just doesn’t feel right.

That’s where Sue’s story begins.

We first connected with Sue back in October 2024. She had a busy job and a busy life, and she was approaching retirement. Like many people, she had been giving everything to everyone else and putting herself last. She wanted to gain strength, feel better, and build a routine she could take with her into retirement. Toning up was on her list, sure—but ultimately, Sue wanted to feel good and enjoy life.

Fast forward to this summer. Sue finally decided it was her time. She walked through our doors feeling nervous (a totally normal feeling we see all the time), but that didn’t stop her. Together, we mapped out her goals, created a plan, and introduced her to a supportive community.

And now? Sue just celebrated her 25th workout! 🎉

She’s showing up, she’s progressing with her weights, and she’s already noticing changes in how she feels day-to-day. Even better—she’s proud of herself for making the commitment.

As Sue recently shared:

“And in the land of small victories—in week 7—today’s rowing was 48 seconds faster for the same distance than in previous sessions…”

That’s the power of consistency. Progress doesn’t happen overnight—it happens one workout, one choice, and one step at a time.

Sue’s story is a reminder that it’s never too late to start. And once you do, you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of.

If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time,” this is your sign. Start today.
